3. Pre-Wedding Venue: The Farm Restaurant
This authentic spanish venue is located in the heart of the Marbella Old Town. Ideal especially if you have your ceremony in the local Marbella church we mention later down in this article.
The Farm restaurant is a long established venue for parties, events and celebrations and that includes weddings and pre-weddings.
Their menus start from just 10€ per person for Tapas and they have a competitive drinks menu or full dinner and dance menus.
The location is beautiful, set in an old building dated 1502, it still has the original well and has a pretty courtyard for your guests to explore.

4. Main wedding venu – Finca La Concepcion
If you are looking for a wedding venue a bit more upmarket where you can also dance all night, then Finca la Concepcion should definitely be on your list of venues to look at.
This venue is so beautiful, it has everything going for it in terms of wedding location, it is romantic, very well maintained and the staff are super helpful and attentive.

5. Wedding Planner: Sunshine Weddings
Possibly the longest established wedding planning agency in Marbella. Sunshine weddings has a host of staff looking after you to ensure a perfectly executed wedding. They have many secret service providers that they have special deals with that they pass on to you and you can believe the reviews, they have always delivered!
WEDDING TIP: Don’t get lost in the sea of self proclaimed wedding planners on the Costa del Sol, choose one that has a good reputation, read the reviews and listen to experiences of others. You will find that Sunshine weddings sticks head & shoulders above the rest and for good reason!

6. Wedding Flowers: Deseos Florist
Karen who heads up the team of Deseos Florists is from South Africa herself. She is talented, flexible and uses only the best fresh flowers delivered to her shop in Nueva Andalucia on a daily basis.
Karen has a plentitude of staff that help her deliver the most beautiful floral creations to anywhere on the Costa del Sol and she has her own store in Marbella that you can visit and where she shows off her craft on a daily basis.

7. Wedding Cakes: Be Sweet Marbella
Located in the commercial center of Guadalmina (San Pedro, Marbella) is this amazing wedding cake maker, Natalia.
Bespoke and personal designs are het forte and nothing is too much to ask! Natalia takes a personal approach when it comes to wedding cakes and makes sure each and every cake that leaves her bakery is nothing less than spectacular (and delicious too!)
WEDDING TIP: Make sure you choose a wedding cake designer that has an actual bakery or office and does not work from the shed in their backyard! This is important as Marbella seems to be overflowing with wedding cake designers, 90% of which don’t have the proper licenses, and you don’t want your guests to come down with a suspicious bug the day after your wedding!

8. Wedding Catering: Goyo Catering
Goyo Catering is an established catering company in Marbella with over 30 years of experience in any type of event, but especially weddings.
They will not only look after your food and drink requirements, they will also look after decorations and furniture if you need this for your wedding.
Goyo are a kosher certified caterer and specialise in international foods. They have experience with vegetarian and vegan catering and have the tools to make your event or wedding a spectacular succes!

9. Wedding Celebrant: Malaga Minister
Malaga Minister is not just 1 minister – it is 3 different ministers and what’s more… they are all women! Natashja, Gayle and Tara each offer their own style as minister but all 3 of them have the same goal in common; making yours the most special, unique and unforgettable ceremony your guests have ever experienced!
If you are looking for a religious, non religious, LGBTQ or perhaps you don’t take life so seriously and are you looking for a humorous wedding ceremony? All can be arranged and then some!

10. Wedding Church
By far the most popular church to say your “I Do’s” has to be the “La Señora de la Encarnacion” in Marbella. This is why it is also very hard to get a booking in this church, it seems to always be booked!
The church is beautiful inside and outside, they are pretty flexible with their ceremonies, and since it is located in the old town of Marbella there are plenty of places to go to after the ceremony for your guests to get a drink (remember The Farm restaurant we talked about earlier?)
WEDDING TIP: My advice is to get a wedding planner involved in booking this church. Even though they have a number on their website, it is usually pretty hard to get hold of someone and to get confirmations from anyone, so it is best organised by someone on the ground who can quickly pass by and arrange everything in person.

BONUS: Wedding Photographer: Jeremy Standley
If you are looking for the best wedding photographer between the 100’s of photographers in Marbella… then Jeremy Standly should be your first port of call! Jeremy has worked as wedding photographer in Marbella over 15 years and is absolutely the best choice if you want your pictures to come out beautiful, artistic, unique and representing you and your parter throughout.
His unique way of documenting a wedding is unheard of and will blow your mind and that of your invited guests.
